LinXis develops targeted therapeutics for the treatment of fibrosis. The basis of these therapeutics are our Fibrobodies, biological compounds which shuttle potent small molecules to the cells that cause the disease. Our employees are embedded in top-notch laboratories in the Amsterdam UMC (the newly opened Amsterdam UMC Imaging Center) and Utrecht University (Department of Cell Biology). To support our preclinical program we are currently looking for a technician disease biology.
The Technician Disease Biology will support the analytical phase of preclinical studies. This includes the establishment and execution of (immuno-) histochemical analysis of preclinical and clinical tissue samples, the assessment of (serum-) biomarkers, the execution of functional in vitro tests, and the coordination of analyses outsourced to external laboratories.
You will be based in Amsterdam, Utrecht, or both – but you will in any case work closely together with your colleagues on both locations. You will become a full member of our cross-functional team with the goal of leading candidates through proof of concept and IND-enabling studies.
The key responsibilities of the Technician Disease Biology are (1) to participate in planning of in vitro and in vivo studies, (2) to oversee and execute analysis of samples from preclinical studies, (3) to execute in vitro analyses in cell-based or biochemical assays, and (4) to keep proper record of performed analyses and results.
