Science: Fibrobody®-Tracer ConjugatesFibrobodies as first-in-class tracer delivery vectors

Fibrobodies® can be equipped with a PET tracer – a small, radioactive compound that can be visualized in the living body using a PET scanner.

Fibrobody-Tracer Conjugates will find and bind to activated myofibroblasts, thereby ‘lighting up’ areas or organs that suffer active fibrosis.

Not only do Fibrobody®-Tracer Conjugates allow early diagnosis of fibrosis this way, they also can help to monitor whether fibrosis resolves – or gets worse, once a patient is diagnosed and being treated.
